Child sexual exploitation awareness

Have you seen #CSEDay19 trending but aren't sure what it means?

CSE stand for Child Sexual Exploitation. It is a form of abuse of young people, either sexual, physical or emotional and can involve them being given affection, gifts, food, money, drugs and/or alcohol and being expected to "return the favour" with sexual activities.

Intimidation, aggression, coercion and violence are common in cases of child exploitation. Vulnerable young people are most often targeted.
