Well done to you Louise for getting pupil of the week for your positive attitude. The feedback was that “She has been a great team player working hard and competing tasks with a smile”. We also heard that you got a certificate for participating in the school games virtual sportshall athletics competition. Fantastic, really well done Louise.
Well done to you Connor for your enthusiasm and positivity. We heard that you got a "well done" card today from a teacher who came and told your foster Mum that you had made her day. She explained that the children signed to a song and she said Connor got right into it and was smiling and was really enjoying himself. She told your foster Mum that she never gives out well done cards but that you really did deserve it. You also got all of your stars for the week and a values champion for being thoughtful - wow, we are so impressed Connor!
Well done James, we heard that your work on a new CV was very impressive!
We were humbled to hear how well you cared for a young person placed in an emergency situation this weekend Karen and Andy. This was a very sensitive and complex situation which you managed extremely well from the first contact through to returning him home to his Mum a few days later. The young person arrived past midnight and was hungry so Karen cooked him a pizza at 1am. The whole family helped to put him at ease and ensured that the time he spent with you, he felt welcome and comfortable. I have no doubt that the fantastic care offered to him, in what was a very difficult situation, helped to make it a positive experience for him and would have reassured his Mum that he was ok too. Thank you Karen and Andy!
Well done to Paul for persevering with your school work and completing it to a very high standard, even though you found it really challenging.
Congratulations to you Cameron for receiving a certificate and a £5 voucher from you previous school for 100% attendance and good behaviour!

Although this year has brought many challenges, I am encouraged by the commitment to their community shown by all the applicants.
